Venice is the Place to Be

If our are looking for adventure, Venice could well be the place for you.  If you don’t get lost in Venice, you’re not doing it right. There’s no better way to explore the lovely maze than in a haze of mild confusion.

Of course, the downside of getting lost, is that it takes longer than you’d expect to get anywhere. So give yourself extra time to get around if you want to take advantage and get the most out of Venice.

If you want to grab a taste of the real Venice then you really should try Squid-ink spaghetti, risotto with prawns and zucchini, and marinated sardines draw heavily from the surrounding waters. If not, why not try risi e bisi (rice and peas) and pasta e fasioi (pasta and beans) embrace the Italian knack for uniting beans and starch.

These foods are decidedly Venetian, and locals take great pride in them. Add on the fact that world-favorite tiramisu was invented in nearby Treviso and has found a happy second home in Venice, your taste buds will experience an explosion of Venetian tastes that can only be truly found in Venice.
